• Hello

I selected the option to get real ip (My website is behind reverse proxy)

However, it adds ffff: prefix to ip addresses. How can I solve that problem?

    Thanks
    Raskolt

    Hi Raskolt!

    Have you read this: https://wpcerber.com/wordpress-ip-address-detection/

Question: Are you sure that your site is behind a proxy?
Note: all IP addresses are provided by the server OS. The plugin shows them as is. This means that the ffff: prefix has been added by the server.

    Hi Gioni

Thank you for your quick reply.

I read the document you showed me. In fact with the help of that document, I could show the real IP, but with :ffff prefix. I could not get rid of that prefix.

My website is hosted with Godaddy. Without Cerber it shows different IP. When I check the option My website is behind a proxy, it shows the real IP.

You should ask Godaddy staff for assistance.
