• Hi @imath,

After changing the theme to Default and deactivating GTM, BuddyDrive works perfectly. I am really interested in this plugin so wanted to know if the following features will be available in future.

    1) Seperate space for BuddyPress Groups? i.e BuddyDrive in the Groups menu where every member of the group can contribute to the Groups Root Folder.

    2) Currently I dont see an option for creating a sub folder. i.e create a folder inside a folder.

    3) Any chance that this plugin will work in collaboration with BuddyPress Doc, so that files can be edited on fly. i.e create a doc/excel/powerpoint here and edit those files when ever needed.

I really really wish these where made possible in the near future.

    Hi @sarathbabu_k,

    Happy it works ??

    1) Well, it’s already almost the case, a group can activate BuddyDrive, then members of this group from their BuddyDrive profile page can set the privacy to this group, and then the folders / files will be available in group BuddyDrive in read only mode. I really want the Uploader to only be in member’s profile page, so i won’t create a view to upload files directly from group.

    2) Sub folder, i thought of it, but it brings some complexity. Actually, i choose this name because it’s easy to understand i can add several file in a container and share all the files at once. That’s the goal of this post type to be a container for files we want to share at once. I don’t think i’ll go in that direction, because people will want to have different privacy levels in folders… For now, let’s make it simple ??

    3) I haven’t tested, but i think you can already use BuddyDrive with BP Docs but not to edit files, only to attach a file to a BuddyPress Doc. Try to paste a file/folder permalink, and it should run the embed code.
I don’t remember BP Doc has the hability to create spreadsheet or presentation.. BP Docs is an excellent plugin and i know Boone will add some functionnality to it in order to allow file attachment.
But editing spreadsheet, following revisions.. and returning it into a file, i mean wow, this might be very complex ??

Thanks for your interest in this plugin ??
