Few questions on the plugin

    Hi,
    I’ve read great reviews of this plugin for security. A few quick questions:

    1. My WordPress site and the websites of others on a shared server were recently hacked (I am switching to a VPS shortly). Somehow the hacker was able to add malicious code to all of the PHP files. The web host believes that the hackers obtained access through a WordPress plugin on someone’s site on the shared server, and then got full access to everyone’s files. Does this plugin protect files if a hacker, for example, gets full access to the server?

  • If a hacker gets full access to a server then no plugin is going to be able to prevent that hacker from doing stuff on the server. What a plugin can do is, inform you of the unwanted changes that was made by someone other than you.
