• Hi,

I was a user of AMPforWP but were having performance issues with it and just found out about AMP WP and switched to it. First of all, congrats on the plugin!

    I have a few questions:

    1) AMP WP is conflicting with the Random Redirect plugin. When accessing https://macmagazine.uol.com.br/?random it’s on an infinite loop. Any help on how to fix that?

    2) I’ve used the theme editor to add custom HTML code, but it’s a bit limited as I can’t add code, for example, right after the post content — I don’t want it to be before </body>. Are there, let’s say, any custom hooks for functions.php?

    3) I can’t seem to find a way to make my logo on the header centered and I’ve tried a few CSS rules. Nothing works. Help?

    That’s it, for now. Thanks!

    One more thing.

My logs are being spammed by this error, it started after I installed AMP WP:

[15-Dec-2018 19:54:48 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: amp-wp-font-awesome in /home/macmagazine/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 6545
[15-Dec-2018 19:54:48 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: amp-wp-google-fonts in /home/macmagazine/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 6545

I know it’s from Jetpack, but it’s some kind of incompatibility with AMP WP, I believe. Help?

    One more. ??

Need help with this error from Google Search Console: https://d.pr/i/IZAwCn

Looks like the plugin’s CSS is too long?

    A couple more.

    1) I have an <amp-embed> code for Taboola’s related articles, which I temporarily pasted before the </body> field when editing theme. But that whole code seems to be ignored and removed by AMP WP. Why is that?

    2) I’ve just noticed that all my AMP pages don’t have a title, only the URL shows up in the browser’s title bar. How to fix that? I use the All in One SEO Pack plugin, BTW.

Thanks and sorry for so many questions/issues.

Another error from Google Search Console. I don’t know why, the plugin is using some old code from Flash (SWF) for certain embeds: https://d.pr/i/23EMim

New warning from Google Search Console, but this is a very easy one for you guys to fix in the plugin’s CSS code: https://d.pr/i/XjpH66

This new error from Google Search Console seems to be related to those Jetpack PHP Notices that are spamming my error_log file: https://d.pr/i/XuCDrn

    Hi @rfischmann,

Thanks for sharing this. We noticed that too, there’s a conflict with the Jetpack plugin and we’re working to resolve this.

Will be fixed in the next minor release.

    Thanks

@pixelative Thank you very much for the feedback. Any ETA for that minor release?

How about the other issues I’ve reported? Can you help me with them?

    Cheers.

    Hi @rfischmann,

Regarding other issues, we’ll look into them and get back to you. Will try to get them fixed in the next minor release as well.

Regarding the ETA, most probably during the first week of Jan.

    Thanks

    @pixelative I see.

Can’t you help me with two of the most urgent issues, then? I’d say the lack of title in posts (that’s very bad for SEO) and the conflict with the Random Redirect plugin.

    Just updated to 1.4.1.

I’ve noticed the ?random conflict was fixed, but I think that’s it from everything I’ve reported here. Right? Or were other things supposed to have been fixed as well?

    Any other update coming soon?

    Thanks, @pixelative.

    Hi @rfischmann,
We have resolved the following issues in our latest release.

    • I’ve used the theme editor to add custom HTML code, but it’s a bit limited as I can’t add code, for example, right after the post content — I don’t want it to be before </body>. Are there, let’s say, any custom hooks for functions.php? To add code you can use the hook ‘amp_wp_post_content_below’ in your functions.php file.
    • I can’t seem to find a way to make my logo on the header centered and I’ve tried a few CSS rules. Nothing works. Help? We have added two new header presets and color options for header in AMP WP Customizer. This will resolve your logo centered in header concern.
    • In your mentioned link, our plugin does not including any (SWF) for certain embeds. Infact, it is in your actual post. For your reference, just view the source code of non-amp version of post.
    • Our plugin is not compatible with WordPress JetPack plugin. We would recommend you to disable your Website debug mode to false and it will hide warnings from google. Also it will also resolved your long CSS code issue.

Note: Please share the URL of Random Redirect Plugin with us.

    Thanks,
