    1. The backup script would be unique for each install. Try using a search engine and search for mysqldump.

    2. Any time I’ve done it I’ve written a custom script similar to the custom script mentioned in #1.

    I thought you already had a script like you mentioned in guide as shardb-back.

    Also the original database gets copied to global database, should we delete original database? As I believe nothing will be updated in that one anymore right?
