Hi @abbasskhan786,
I completely understand how important it is to integrate product tags from WooCommerce into ShipStation to enhance your order management by enabling better categorization and automation.
By default, the WooCommerce ShipStation Integration plugin doesn’t automatically import product tags into ShipStation. However, there are ways to work around this:
You can manually assign tags in ShipStation. After your products are imported, you can tag them by navigating to the Products tab in ShipStation. Select a product to open its details, and from there, assign tags that match your WooCommerce product tags. If you’d like a visual guide, check out this resource: Products Overview.
Another option is to set up automation rules in ShipStation, which can save time and streamline the tagging process. Here’s how you can do it:
- Go to Settings > Automation Rules in ShipStation.
- Create a new rule to apply a tag to an order based on specific criteria, such as when it includes a certain product.
This way, orders containing specific products in WooCommerce can be automatically tagged in ShipStation when they’re imported. For more details, you can refer to this guide: Order Tags.
Additionally, ShipStation supports up to three custom fields that may contain extra data you want sent to the ShipStation orders section. You can also take advantage of it by following this guide : https://woocommerce.com/document/shipstation-for-woocommerce/#export-custom-field-data-to-shipstation
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.
