Fetal Problems about Updating and Searching

    I’ve already used profilegrid for some time, but it always pops up problems. These are the problems listed below.

    a. Can’t fully make customized search. Other plugins allow users to search user profiles based on their specific fields. For example, the profile field has the option of location.
    While when users register, they will input different locations. Let’s say China contains Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Jinan, Xi’an, etc. But when you search one only in Beijing, but based on their own shortcode [PM_Search], it shows you only all the profiles. It’s not feasible for users to search registered users in a fixed location. Similarly, if you set options just as I did, it is not working at all.

    b. After updating to 3.0.1, all the free extensive plugins don’t work any more. You can’t upgrade these extensive plugins like ProfileGrid bbpress, ProfileGrid Custom Profile Slugs, and ProfileGrid woocommerce.

    a) Could you please let us know which field you want to make searchable. The basic criteria is to allow it is:

    1- Go to the fields section
    2- Edit the field which you want to make searchable.
    3- Locate the option “Display in Advance Search”
    4- Enable and save it.
    5- Post that, on search page you will find a new option “Advanced Search”
    6- Click on it to reveal fields checkbox list
    7- Select the corresponding checkbox for the field that you enabled to make searchable.

    b) Since our last update had some major changes, you will need to upgrade all the extensions too. Please go to following link and download the corresponding extensions. https://profilegrid.co/checkout/purchase-history/
