    Hello,

we installed Woocommerce Payments on our new online shop. We tested the Payment methods. Creditcard works finde but if I choose “Klarna” it says: “Fehler: setup_future_usage cannot be used with one or more of the values you specified in payment_method_types. Please remove setup_future_usage or remove these types from payment_method_types: [“klarna”]”

What can we do to fix this problem?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, @narovital1! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Does this issue happens with all products or only some?

Are the products regular simple products or are they subscriptions/booking/pre-order, etc?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

This happens with all products. These are regular products.

I can’t find the selector to search vor Fatal Errors. But I copied the log of Woocommerce Payments from today. You can find the error in the last row:

    Hello narovital1

    Thank you for your reply.

After reviewing the SSR I noticed that you are using an outdated version of WooCommerce (8.7.0).
    The current version is 9.0.2.

The WooPayments released a new version update recently 7.9.0.
    You are one version behind.

Could you please update WooCommerce and WooPayments to the latest versions?
Then check if the issue persists.

Let me know about your findings. ??

    Best regards.

I updated Woocommerce and WooPayments. But the Error still appears.

    Hello @narovital1,

Could you please?run a conflict test?to see if something external is interfering with this?

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins (except for WooCommerce and WooPayments) and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

I hope that helps! Let us know once you have done a conflict test!

Thank you. We identified the conflicting plugin. It is “CartFlows Pro”. I contacted the support of cartflows.

    Hey, @narovital1!

I’m glad you were able to find the issue ??

Thank you for sharing the solution here and contributing to the WooCommerce Community. This might help other users in the future.

I’m going to close this thread now, okay?

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
