feedwordpress not working after 2.9 upgrade

    I have recently upgraded my wp to 2.9, and the feedwordpress plugin I use stopped syndicating content entirely… I found that topic:

    I have updated the magpie rss file when it was requested from WP2.9’s Magpie RSS 2.9-default to FWP’s Magpie RSS 2009.0725, isn’t that supposed to Magpie RSS 2009.1112 (which the version of the latest FWP, if yes where to get it?).

    At least as of this moment it’s 5-1 in favor of FWP 2009.1112 working with 2.9, so according to forum topic above how can I manually update the rss.php and rss-functions.php files, or what would fix this problem otherwise?

  • Yeah I got that one a few times, I just kept trying “switch feed” and it eventually worked..it has to do with the feed’s format.

    I had to deactivate a plugin called ‘Feedwordpress Duplicate Posts Filter’ – which was apparently preventing syndication when running WP 2.9.2 and FWP 2010.0127. Now it works.

    Feeds just stopped with me too. Tried deactivating any plugins but it made no difference. Any ideas anyone?

    enquirer32 – Try more then once, and also update your WordPress installation again.

    I guess i corrupted the feed addresses – everything works fine now. Sthg to check if you had this problem.

    i have find solution – you need copy (its because WP use older version of MagpieRSS and its full with bugs)

    wp-content/plugins/feedwordpress/MagpieRSS-upgrade/rss.php

    to

    /wp-includes

    now i can feeds ??
