    Hi guys,

I’m trying to import jobs via an RSS feed using Feedwordpress.

I’ve managed to get the jobs into the admin, but they only show in the frontend if I manually add the job type to each one.

How do I import a default job type? I guess it’s a custom meta type fieldy thing! Either _job_types or job_listing_type

My “full time” job type has the ID of 49, but adding that to either or both of the above isn’t working?

Any ideas would be really appreciated as I don’t want to have to manually update hundreds of jobs daily if I can avoid it!

Job type is a taxonomy – you’d need to assign that term to the job listing on import. See if the plugin you’re using to import lets you set a term on import.

Hi Mike, Thanks yeah I can set a term, that’s what I mean I’ve added:

    _filled 0
    _featured 0

Which means the jobs are now importing and showing in the “job listings” admin area, but I don’t think the jobs themselves will have a job type in the feed, so I just want to set a generic job type to each one..

How would I do that? What “key” do I need?

You would set the term to ‘full-time’ for all jobs.
