I need help with FeedSmith.
I had to download and install this from the link provided above, since I hadn’t found it within the first 20 pages of the plugin directory (and wasn’t going to scroll through all 200 pages).
I downloaded it to my desktop, then uploaded it to WordPress, then installed and activated it. All seemed to be going fine until I activated it. At that point I started getting the following messages at the top of the WP Dashboard – above the thick blue top menu line…
Warning: include_once(/home/moeloe/maureenmower.com/wp-content/plugins/__MACOSX/) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: Success in /home/moeloe/maureenmower.com/wp-settings.php on line 473
Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home/moeloe/maureenmower.com/wp-content/plugins/__MACOSX/’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/moeloe/maureenmower.com/wp-settings.php on line 473
I figured there was a problem with the plug in, so I tried deactivating it. The same message stayed in the same place. Then I tried deleting the deactivated plug-in – but still no change.
Now I’m stuck. I don’t know what the messages mean, or how to get them off the top of my dashboard when even deleting the plug in wouldn’t do that.
HELP!!
