• I have the plugin installed and showing on my page. But, when I click on submit, it takes 27 seconds before it shows the after message. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

I’m using latest WordPress version, Helpful version 4.1.3, Divi as website theme and Echo Knowledge Base for the articles where I am displaying Helpful/

    Hi @billybobob !

Do you use a caching plugin? Helpful only has problems with it. Otherwise there are no known problems. You could install Query Monitor and report the error the plugin is throwing at me – or you could send me a link.

So far it was always a caching problem. Helpful is actually always fast, it can also be on the server?

Thanks for your prompt response, Kevin.

I completely turned off all caching for my site – both WordPress cache and hosting cache – and the problem remained.

    You can see it here

Using Query Monitor, I identified and turned off one or two problematic plugins, which helped, but I’m still getting a 5-10 second delay in seeing the after message.

Query Monitor shows these two things about Helpful: https://ibb.co/S5WC2YC and https://ibb.co/5GMKxy4, but that is all done on page load

    Hi,

I read in a bit, unfortunately the problem is not Helpful but cpanel. There are problems with PHP sessions. You can find some solutions here:

Hopefully this will help you a bit. If necessary, you can also ask your hoster if you can’t make any settings. So this is because the sessions are stored in the wrong folder.
