very nice! I actually just subscribed ?? Though, not for the design but for the content!

You do, however, commit my biggest pet peeve whenit comes to user interface!

When hovering on the links in the navigation, there is a brief pause while the hover image loads (only on the first load, of course)!

It’s small, but it’s noticeable! And to me, it’s very noticeable!!

Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you have an interest in the content! How can I pre-load the images to avoid the pause?

if it bothers you enough, you could preload using css: https://styledsheet.com/archives/2007_03/preloading-hover-images-using-css.

If it doesn’t bother you too much, I would just leave it as it’s not a huge deal.
