[Feedback] Anybody using WalletConnect?

    tl;dr: remove walletconnect and go back to the “button only” version?

    Is anybody using the WalletConnect QR-code succesfully? All I get is “handshake failed” errors.

    I’ve tried it with EthPress, and the demo app here: https://web3modal.com/ , and neither work on Trust Wallet, which, I think, is broken.

    So, do we ditch it? I am not going to spend my days debugging these wallets and whatnot, only Metamask, and other built-in web3 wallets (opera, brave) interest me.

    But if it works for everyone else, then that’s a different story.

    After 1month and 1week, nobody seems to care about it, and it’s still giving me the same old errors. However, I don’t think I’ll be going back to the button only version. Most likely the modal will just have one button, MetaMask, for a while.

    Considering that nobody is complaining that it’s broke, it implies to me that nobody is using it, which means it isn’t worth my time.

    Alright, well, the metamask mobile app seems to work alright, so I guess we’ll keep it.
