    Hi,

    I’m having the following error while trying to send messages through contact form 7. I see this error through the Chrome console.

    wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/NaN/feedback 404 (Not Found)

    Which version of Contact Form 7 and WordPress do you use?

    Wordpress – 4.9.7
    CF7 – 5.0.3

    Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme (Twenty Seventeen). Then create a new contact form following this instruction: Getting Started with Contact Form 7.

    Takayuki was a problem in the same theme. I found the error and ran normally.

    Can you share more details on what was the issue and how you resolved it? I am facing similar problem. Surprisingly everything is working fine on localhost, but after exporting the entire page to web server, since some time, I keep getting 404 error while submitting first step of multistep contact form. Previously it was working fine.

    Any support appreciated.

    Hi Michalwkrak .

    Have you installed any plugins recently? If so, give it up and do the tests. If that does not work, switch to a standard wordpress theme and see if the form works. If it works, it’s some code problem in your theme. In these conditions the interesting thing is to look more closely at the code.
