• Im having an issue here getting my feed validated and it wont get accepted into itunes. im so confused here and lost because ive been working on this for a week. The messages im getting i dont even have a clue how to fix or even where to start.

    The first thing its telling me it cant validate rawvoice.com ive never typed that anyplace so that must be hard coded someplace and i dont have a clue how to get it out because i dont see it. Its also saying things like the title doesnt match the channel but im using category podcasting so i dont think i have a way to make it match. I had to type in the name of that particular category to make it work. (i think) im being told there are iframes in the tag but i havent entered any iframe anyplace. below is the full message and the validation link. HELP!

    Did you try updating your copy of PowerPress today? I wonder if this version may have fixed your problem? If not, I added a special debug option that will at least tell us in the feed if your getting the right category ID to PowerPress.

    Hey Angelo,

    I did update today and it had no effect. I put the feed back in itunes. When i get to the itunes screen i still get the wrong author the wrong name and the wrong description.

    I added a new define called POWERPRESS_DEBUG that you can add to your wp-config.php, it will tell us just a little information in your feed if the right data is getting passed from WordPress to the Blubrry rss filters.

    Add the following line to your wp-config.php (anywehere above the require line near the bottom…

    define('POWERPRESS_DEBUG', true);

    Let me know when you have this in place and I’ll take a quick look at your feed. Don’t worry, it will not do anything that breaks your web site or feed, the debug info is small within a comment field and doesn’t contain anything to pose any security risks.
