  • The enclosure tag is from the Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin you’re using.

    Here’s one of such enclosures:

    <enclosure url="https://www.eugenioruberto.it/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Lc-1115-26.mp3" length="0" type="" />

    As you can see, the type attribute is empty, which is what the validator is complaining about. But the length attribute is also zero… which is also a problem.

    I’ll recommend you post your issue in the Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin’s own support forum so its developers can look into this for you.

    Good luck!

    No, I think you’re misunderstanding the real issue.

    The issue is not from the media player on the page.

    It’s the enclosure tag in the RSS feed, which is added by the plugin. This is what makes it possible to submit your site to Podcast aggregators like Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts, and what makes it possible for people to subscribe to listen to your podcast.

    This is not the same as the media player on the page.

    And, in fact, there are 17 such enclosures in your RSS feed right now.

    @gappiah you’re right!

    I’ve just add a topic to ssp support forum!
