    Hey,
I notice there are many areas which says this product feed plugin supports the plugins I have installed to support composite and bundled products.

Is there any documentation which explains how they are supported by this plugin?

Specifically I need to get composite product bundled options into the feed without me creating more custom code to insert the information.

Could we get some documentation on this workflow?

    Thanks!!!!

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Just like simple and variation product types the plugin “just” adds them to the feed. There is nothing special you need to do for that so there is no specific documentation on it either.

Have you already tried it and tested if your composite and bundled products make it to your feed?

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried it already and I’ve scanned all the possible variable names, but nothing is obvious at the moment to obtain the stock qty available for the buudled products. It shows the correct price.

Should I be looking for a certain prefix in the name to find the variables associated with the bundle or composite product types for the stock qty?

    Hi,

You can add the following field mapping to your feed configuration so you can check in the feed itself what product types they are.

Yes, I did see the that field, but what about the quantity of the base item in that bundle configuration? I see it does add composite products, but qty is returning as 0 using the following variables: ‘stock (Custom attribute)’ and ‘Quantity[Stock]’, both show 0.

    Hi,

The stock will only return a number when you enabled the ‘Manage stock’ checkbox and set quantity. So like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v7deah8yvm1apxp/CompositeStock.png?dl=0

In the above case the ‘Quantity’ attribute will put 12 in the feed (we have tested this on our development website).

    Hello,
Is there a custom way I can get the inventory count for the bundled product based on the base/single item inventory? That is what I need in my feed.

I understand when selecting to manage inventory at product level, it means I would have to control the stock qty there, but building composite products, clients should not have to management that inventory count as well.

    Any advice?

    Hi,

Unfortunately that is not possible. Our plugin will only get the inventory count of the bundled/composite product itself. It is not looking a the individual product data.

    Hi,
