• Resolved BluePrintAds

    (@icthawk)

Submitted the feed through https://validator.w3.org/ as iTunes suggests. Some of the errors I was able to resolve as it was improper input. However, I have a couple left that I need your help with.

1.) url must be a full URL / enclosure url
The URL listed is a full URL, however it is an incorrect URL to my audio file. It is placing a local URL as if the file was being hosted by the website, however we use AWS and S3. So the file is placed into an S3 bucket. It works on the website just fine, and the URL displayed in the file upload is correct. However in the FEED XML it is incorrect.

    2.) should not contain HTML
In the content of the podcast my users are adding images, and other non-text items. Can the plugin either strip all HTML tags (would work for me) or provide a custom field for FEED description that won’t allow HTML? For now, I can go through and remove all the HTML stylings but I know the client will prefer to have them there as it helps with the display on the front end.

    Hi there,

I have been largely offline for the last few months and have been unable to help out all of this plugin’s awesome users in this forum. I’m sorry if this has inconvenienced you!

As a result there are a large number of questions here that I just don’t have the time to answer effectively. There’s also a very good chance that the majority of them are no longer valid as it has been quite a while since they were posted.

With that in mind, I’m going to close all of them (including this one), so if you still require support then please create a brand new topic and I will respond on there going forward, as I have time to do so.

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Cheers,
    Hugh
