Feed to Indeed and Other Job Boards

We are considering using this plugin for a client. The client has two needs.

1. The jobs as posted need to be picked up by Job sites such as Indeed. I assume that the plugin is formatted for this? Just double-checking.
2. They have several jobs that just stay open. What do they need to do so job boards such as Indeed keep their job postings current? Is it as simple as deactivating and re-activating. We are currently posting jobs as blog posts and often have to manually change the slug to be picked up as a current job by job boards.

Any insight or experience appreciated.
