Feed them social error message after upgrade to PHP 8.0

For logging into FTS, were you able to figure out the issue with logging in again? If you are still having trouble, delete the plugin from the backend of the website under wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social that should allow you to log back in. Then search for and install the Feed Them Social plugin again and see if the problem persists. Once you are able to log back in, let us know, then we can look into the issue. If not, try reverting to older version of php till we can understand the issue better. We also would need to know the exact php version applied too.

To help you debug this issue further, once you are able to have the FTS plugin installed and active, please send us your system info (Feed Them > System Info) as well as your most recent shortcode. Please email those items to support@ slickremix.com (please close the gap in the email address before sending).

I’m also getting errors after upgraded PHP. I’m still using the free version but considering upgrading to the combined add-on. I want to make sure that this plug in will work with the latest PHP though first.

I need to update my comment. I actually had gone up to 8.1, rolling back to 8.0 fixed most of the errors for me. Now I just have:

Yes, while our plugins are compatible with PHP 8, not all versions of PHP 8 are the same. Thank you for alerting us to this and we will look into what is going on vs PHP 8.1

You have done what we would’ve suggested, revert to a previous PHP version. Glad that has worked out for you. I have the same error and all versions do not work php 8.0 php 8.1 and php8.2

I cant put the site back on php 7

please advise I just renewed my pro version but if it does not work I want to refund that please

Hi @slickchris,

I removed FTS as you explained, and installed and activated the plugin again. The problem remains the same. I was however able te retrieve the System Info. I will send the info by email.

We just pushed a Major update for the plugin Version 4.0.2 this should resolve some of the issues. We still may have some work to do but this update is one we have been working on for 2 years now. We redid the framework of the entire plugin. Please updated and let us know if you guys are still having issues.
