Hi @techpod, does clearing the browser cache bring the pages back?

With regards to the feed not working, we’re aware of an issue that is causing this on some sites and are working on testing a fix for it right now. An update will be released very soon.

@techpod we’ve just released Spotlight v0.9.2 which fixes the errors from v0.9.1. Can you please update to Spotlight v0.9.2, clear the Spotlight cache from Instagram Feeds > Settings > Tools (as well as your browser cache), and let me know whether that gets your Instagram feeds working again when you go to edit them?

Hi Mark thanks for getting back to me, your admin panel isn’t working on Safari, but it is on Chrome.

I tried clearing the cache as you requested, but I am getting this error now after the update:

    Spotlight has encountered an error:

Exhausted 768Mb of memory. To fix this problem, kindly clear the cache from the "Instagram feeds > Settings > Tools" page and then try again.

If this error persists, kindly contact customer support.

and after clearing the feeds cache, site and plugin cache there is still nothing appearing

Hi @techpod, does clearing the browser cache get it to work on Safari again?

Let’s focus on Chrome for the memory issue. Are you using version 0.9.2?

If not, please update to version 0.9.2 and then follow these steps:

    1. Clear the cache from “Instagram Feeds > Settings > Tools”.
    2. Go to the Feeds list.
    3. From the “Actions” dropdown, click on “Update posts” for the problematic feed.
    4. Wait for the first import to complete.

Please note that steps 1 and 4 may take a while to finish. When steps 1 and 4 are finished, a notification will appear at the top right of the page. Please do not navigate away from the page until those notifications appear.

If you encounter any problems after following these steps or they don’t work for you, please reach out to [email protected] and we’ll be happy to take a closer look for you.`

I’m not seeing feed images in my IG Spotlight either,
I’ve updated the plugin, purged my server cache and still have this:

Just a grey square where my most recent post should appear.

@punchbuggyblue this worked for me ” Spotlight cache from Instagram Feeds > Settings > Tools”

    Clearing the plugins cache specifically

just hope I dont have to keep doing it

Hi @punchbuggyblue, please open a separate thread if you’re still facing this problem since the cause may be different in your case.

In any case, clearing the Spotlight cache from here as techpod suggested, and then using the “Update posts” action in the Feeds list (from the dropdown under “Actions” on the right) should get it working for you again. If not, we have a new update to be released this week which might fix this problem too.

I had the same issue. Then I cleared the cache in settings as suggested above and now it’s just blank with no squares displayed. Tried this on Brave and Edge with the same results. Page is here: https://tableauxblog.com/

Then I refreshed the pages on both browsers and it seems to be working as expected.
