  • @skumar1st if all the URLs ends with /feed/ then those are your RSS feeds.

Do you see these in Google Search Console under Coverage? If so you might be linking somewhere to the URLs with /feed

    Thanks for quick response.

Yes, I am seeing in google search console under coverage. But I have not linking to the urls with /feed.

It may be in yoast setting.

    Pls guide.

    Thanks.

It will not be yost but might be a conflict somewhere. The yoast sitemap does not include RSS feeds so somewhere perhaps in your theme it generates the links without proper tags to mark it as feeds.

Really I don’t have idea about this. I am using Astra Theme.

So should I disable feed completely?

    Please guide.

The Yoast plugin automatically adds a “noindex” tag to all feed URLs, since they don’t provide useful content to your site and should not be in the search index. These type of URLs are not added to the sitemap by the plugin either. However, it’s normal that they are excluded from the index and should not be a cause for concern.
RSS feeds are automatically generated by WordPress. WordPress creates feeds for almost all items on a site, including posts, comments, etc. You can find more information here. If you don’t have any use for RSS feeds on your site, you can find more information on how to disable them here.

@skumar1st it must be coming from the theme. The /feed/ at the end of the URL is not standard/normal and don’t think it is a Yoast issue either as Suwash said, Yoast does add noindex to them. Do the entry in GCS have “excluded” to the left of the entry because then that is stil OK, it’s excluded and won’t index so nothing to do/worry about as long as it falls under the Excluded section.

I have also checked my sites and searched for /feed/ and they do show up “if” the site set those to be excluded so it is normal.

    Hi,

Since this is more on the configuration of the RSS feed, we’ll be closing this thread/setting it to resolved. Please do note that receiving a report of ‘crawled – currently not indexed’ isn’t necessarily a cause for concern or an issue at all, as the RSS feed URLs shouldn’t usually be showing in the search results. You can learn more about the index coverage report in GSC here – https://yoast.com/beginners-guide-to-google-search-console/
