    Hello,

My feed isn’t displaying I can see it’s pulling through the code but the image path is to a placeholder image in the plugin folder.

Ther descriptions are pulling through fine though in the code.

    <img src="https://www.domain.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.png" alt="Recent white gloss racing stripes applied to this @peugeotuk ">

Any idea why this would happen?

    Hey craigb1988,

I’m wondering if you have a lazy-loading plugin in use. Is that the case? You could try enabling the setting “Disable JS Image Loading” on the “Customize” tab, “Advanced” sub-tab.

Otherwise I can take a look if you can provide a link to a page that has the issue.

I have the same issue and also with the Facebook feed plugin by Smash Balloon.
I have tried “Disable JS Image Loading” and this did not help.

Update: I do have a lazy loading setting, I changed it but this has not solved the issue.

    Hi @kenrichman

Not sure if it will help but check how you’re including jQuery and make sure it’s included before the Instagram feed’s JS

I was including my own copy of jQuery and deregistering the WP version in my code and it was been loaded after the plugin’s JS

Once I sorted that it worked for me.

    Thanks for the suggestion @craigb1988!

If kenrichman needs more help feel free to post a link to a page with the feed on it and we can take a look

    Hey again,

It looks like images are displaying for me:

I did notice a JavaScript error in the console. You could try switching themes and deactivating other plugins to see which is the source of it.

Do you have any browser extensions or add ons installed? That may be causing an issue as well.

I still have this issue though strangely one image does appear, others do not. It is an issue with Firefox but not Chrome, do you see the same issue if you use Firefox?

It looks like it’s working for me with Firefox as well:

Do you have any browser extensions for Firefox?
