• Hey all.
When adding urls to an rss reader (via the wordpress built in xxx.com/feed functionality), only the posts from the start page get recognized.
Adding another page (where I show a collection of categorized posts) to the reader recognizes only the comments of that respective page.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.
    regards

  • Feeds are date sensitive, and show the latest X number of Posts. WordPress Pages are not in the time flow (they have a date, but it is not used). So getting a feed of a Page is not the same as a feed of a top-level URL. But the comment feed is typically a different address than the other feeds. You can get a category feed.

    thanks, Joy.

    Can I combine multiple categories?

Is it possible to get a feed of the events?

    regards.

Yes, I think you can get a feed for most any legitimate URL. If events are a post type, you should be able to get a feed also. There are plugins that add custom post types to the blog page and/or the feed.
