    Hi,

I am using a buddypress community site. There are 2 roles for members : regular and admin (admin is equivalent to WP admin). I am using the shortcode [wp-rss-aggregator ] to display RSS feeds in a widget.

If you are an admin, the feed items are displayed normally.

I you are a simple member, it says “No feed items found.”.

In the regular role capabilities, I have checked everything in “Templates”,”Feed items”,”Feed sources”.

    Can anybody help, please ?

    Thank you.

    Olivier

    Hi @ikone227

We conducted a test by installing WP RSS Aggregator and BuddyPress on our end. We created a new regular member and tested the display of RSS feed items using the [wp-rss-aggregator] shortcode within a widget. However, we were unable to replicate the issue you described. The regular member was able to view the feed items without encountering any issues.

To better understand the problem and assist you more effectively, could you please share your system information and Aggregator logs as explained here?

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to resolving this issue promptly.

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer and sorry for the delay. As this issue looks weird, I decided to create a custom widget to display feed items from Aggregator’s tables. It works correctly for all member profiles.

    Best regards,

    Olivier
