As you will see there doesn’t seem to be any new logs since 10th October.

Thanks for the follow-up, this suggests that your cron jobs may be failing and thus the feed item fetch task is not getting initiated. Would you check to see if the items get fetched when you click on the fetch option from the feed source page? In addition, please check out the following article on how to troubleshoot Cron job issues on the site.

When we fetch, the items do not get updated in the feed.

Is there a cron job we should add?

Are you able to send the cron job? As I cannot see one on the server. I can then add.

@andygalliers the cron tasks are automatically generated by the plugin when you activate the feed source. However, this will only trigger if your server has support for cron jobs. I’d recommend checking with the host provider for assistance with verifying the same.

Yes, the hosting allows cronjobs as we use them for other things.

There is no cronjob. If you can send it to me, I will add it to the server.

Unfortunately, we do not have any specific cron job that we can share. All the cron jobs tasks are automatically created by the plugin when you set up a feed source. Would you please share a screenshot of how the cron tasks and events page looks like from your end under Tools > Cron Events?

Hi Andy, Mike was referencing the WordPress Tools section, not that of WP RSS Aggregator. In your Dashboard’s sidebar, it’s usually between Users and Settings.

You’ll also need to install the free WP Crontrol plugin, as explained in the earlier linked documentation article.
