    I don’t know where to get the Feed ID that needs to be entered in the “Feeds to Display” field when setting up the widget. I know the GCal feed ID (the GCal works just fine) and i have entered it in the Feed ID field for the widget, but I get this error “Some data was retrieved, but could not be parsed successfully. ” The source calendar is the same calendar so why the problem?

  • If I understood your question right, here’s what you do:

    In the left-hand sidebar in your admin pages, click on “GCal Events” which you’ll find between “Comments” and “Appearance”. This will show you a nice table of whatever feeds you have created for the plugin to use. There is a column there called “Feed ID”. That’s an easy place to find the number you need. It will probably look something like this: 1409

    Now when you set up the widget, you’ll type or paste in that number where it says “Feeds to Display.”

    Thanks aparente001.

    That’s exactly what I was doing with an existing GCal feed, but it didn’t work.

    I ended up doing a work around by creating a new GCal feed and picked up the Feed ID from that to input in the Widget. I don’t know why the Feed ID from the original feed doesn’t work in the Widget, but the problem is solved.

    Thanks for your help!

    I’ve noticed that some others have had to make a new feed too after the update.

    Glad it’s working!

    @aparente001, thanks for helping.

    Marking resolved on this one since it seems to have been figured out. If you have any more questions let us know.

    THanks!

    I have acquired the feed id. Input. It’s the same source. The widget is still not working. Need a solution.
