Hi – have loved using your plugin – but due to all the fb changes, we’ve seen our feed hasn’t been updated in 3 months-

Today I updated your plugin, was able to get the “Success! We have got tokens for your Facebook pages.” and I (with great hope) went to the web site, but still see that the feed hasn’t updated in 3 months ??

Would love to be able to verify tokens/app ID, etc – but don’t see how to do that with the upgraded plugin. At my wits end and hope you can help ??

  • Hello,

I have just uninstalled and deleted the plugin. Then I reinstalled and now I don’t receive the ‘ Something went wrong (trying edit feed).’ error. Also, it seems that some of the plugin settings have changed: now I see a ‘Lightbox setting’ tab instead of the ‘Events’ tab. I am sure that I had the most recent version of the plugin, so for what is worth, I think the problem was indeed that something got stuck in there.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,

We just updated to plugin version 1.1 and we now have this same problem. We re-authenticated using the new method, and now cannot edit the feed; we get the error described in this post.

Plugin authors have not posted the solution here yet. Can we fix this without uninstalling/reinstalling and starting from scratch??

    Hi,

We will need to have a closer look at the issue in order to be able to find alternative solutions, beside the uninstalling/reinstalling. Could you please contact us at [email protected].

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

As I responded in my email, I’m afraid that our work hours don’t overlap across time zones.

Thanks for your help, @wdteam, I know that keeping up with Facebook requirements must be very difficult.

After several issues with this plugin, I’ve decided to try another method. Instead of uninstalling, reinstalling, and resetting all of the options and then setting up a new feed from scratch, I instead installed a different plugin to display the Facebook feed.

Hopefully you will resolve this, and I will try your plugin again at some later date.

We are sorry to see you go. Customer satisfaction is of highest priority for us and we are here to assist you if you come to use our products in future. Just let us know.

    Have a nice day!
