    Hi there,

    I currently have the following problem(s):

    First of all I have two pages with different feed settings. On the first page I only allow 5 entries to be shown of the feed, on the second page it’s 20. Now when I navigate from page one to two – I only see 5 feeds, instead of the 20. UNTIL I do a page refresh. This occurs the other way around too. Is there any way I can refresh the settings on page load?

    The problem can be observed here: https://www.games-scoop.com.
    Just navigating between overview & pc games will highlight the problem.
    (Page is just a temp…)

    As for my second question. On one page I display multiple feeds. For one feed I have specified to show 20 entries, for the other that’s 5. However all feeds show 20 entries. Any way to fix this?

    Thanks in advance for any replies.

    Regards,

    Jan

    I’m not sure if this is a caching problem or what. Are you using different shortcode parameters on the various sections of each page and on different pages?

    Indeed I am.

    for example:

    page 1 -> [wp_rss_multi_importer category=”1″ showdesc=”0″ thisfeed=”5″]
    page 2 -> [wp_rss_multi_importer category=”1″ showdesc=”1″ thisfeed=”20″ morestyle=”Read More…”]

    ok…do you have the cache setting on (look at the shortcode settings panel near the bottom and make sure this is off)

    It’s off.

    But I’ve just noticed it only occurs when I navigate between the pages pretty much instantly. If I wait a minute – which is most likely what users will do, it doesn’t occur.

    Perhaps it’s not that big a deal all in all.

    right..it might be a wordpress thing where they cache the shortcode parameters for a period of time..not sure if this is so or not.

    I went from entries per feed to maxperpage and that pretty much solved my problem.

    Great. If you could rate the plugin that would help others decide whether or not to try it.

    Thanks
