“Naked” PowerPress feeds only ever show the source code of the feed. You may have had a plugin on the old installation that changed how feeds displayed. Also, Firefox does this automatically with all RSS feeds in terms of making them “human readable,” instead of just displaying the code. Regardless, the behavior you’re seeing is normal. If you were using Firefox before but a different browser now, that could explain the difference you’re seeing in how the feed is displayed.

Also, Feed Validator hasn’t been updated in years. It tosses out a lot of unnecessary warnings that you can disregard. I didn’t see anything above that you should be concerned with. In the future, try either Podbase or CastFeedValidator.

Thank you very kindly, sir! That puts me at ease. I think I caught the view out of CastFeedValidator and it stuck in my head at one point or another. Glad to have that answered before I set out to fix the unfixable. ??

If you’ve found the support we’ve provided here to be of value, please consider leaving a review for PowerPress.

These reviews help us with future development of the plugin, and we’d really appreciate it!
