    Hi John,

WordPress already creates feeds for each category. Just click through to whatever category you want to find the feed for, and add “/feed/” to the end of the URL. Just don’t add a second slash (“//”) if there is already one at the end of the URL.

For more info, check out these articles:

I don’t know too many people who would create a Feedburner feed for each category feed, but that’s not to say you can’t do it. I’m not sure what the benefit would be, but that’s totally up to you.

Yeah, you can easily allow people to subscribe to each category…you just need to make it available for people somewhere. People won’t usually subscribe to categories without there being some kind of link to it because not everyone knows about that feature of WordPress.

This plugin won’t have much value in that area though as it’s far beyond the scope of the plugin.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks Scott, that helps indeed!

I want to setup this for a particular media website which has several topic related categories. For instance, some people might want to subscribe to Technology category, while others to Sports – and not necessarily to both.

And I’m not sure this is beyond the scope of the plugin because the next question that pops up is – how to manage several feeds at a single website?

Your plugin offers a single box for entering the feed. What happens for the others?

    Glad it helps! ??

When I say its outside the scope of this plugin, I just mean that RS Feedburner is designed to take care of the two main WordPress feeds, and that’s pretty much it.

I don’t think I’m really supposed to give website advice here as this is a support forum. ??

What I would recommend is to hire a good website/WordPress developer to help you create a custom solution for your particular site.

My question was not related to a website advise whatsoever.

Just wanted to understand how this works and whether your plugin is able to take care of other than those 2 main feeds.

Probably the answer would have been that your plugin just sends the main feeds and then it’s up to FB to include there different category feeds but I understand this is something I should not ask here.

    Well noted, thanks.
