Features not working & headers missing from Website

  • When I used to pull up the home page, there were 3 different literary quotes that would pop up in dotted boxes with the rubberband motion to them. Then on my other pages like Services, the counting widget at the bottom of the page used to count up to all of the different numbers associated with my work and it doesn’t do anything now, just says 0 for each one. Also my page titles on Quote, FAQs, and Testimonials are all incomplete. My FAQ section is completely gone and I had a lot typed up there. The information looks like its all there when I go into Edit with Elementor, it just doesn’t show up on my actual site anymore. WordPress Tech support directed me to here and said that it is a theme design issue. I believe I bought the PRO Ashe theme, so it is disappointing when features don’t work on my live website anymore. Please advise as I would like to get this issue resolved so my website doesn’t look incomplete when customers go to it.

    This comment may be considered out of context but I believe it is not.

    IMHO, this is a prefect illustration of the danger of using non-standard themes along with page builders such as Elementor or Divi. These elements introduce two layers of complexity on top of the WordPress Core and its plugin ecosystem. They may not always play along well and I am not surprised that they occasionally breaks websites.
