Featured Video on post…Featured Image on blog

    I purchased the Featured Video license and it’s a great addition but I want to show an image on the blog and the video on just the post as how you described in the demo. I set my Featured image and saved it and then Set video to only display on post and updated. The video shows on the post but nothing shows on the blog. If I set the Featured video to show on Post and Blog it works fine but that’s not I want.
    Please help.

    P.S: To read on how to use the features of Tracks I would read the “How-To” page you provided on the Compete themes site. It was just a long page that descibed each feature from beginning to end. I didn’t have to click each The site has now changed and I cant find it anymore. Am I just blind or was it taken off?

    Thanks for notifying me of this bug. It will be fixed in the next update we release, but to fix it right now you can use this child theme.

    To activate the child theme:

    1. Visit your site’s dashboard
    2. Go to the Appearance menu
    3. Click on the “Add New” button at the top of the page
    4. Click on the “Upload Theme” button at the top of the page
    5. Click on the “Choose File” button
    6. Select the tracks.zip file you downloaded from the link above
    7. Click “Install Now”
    8. Once the page reloads, click the blue “activate” link

    If you’re using a custom menu, you will need to re-select its location from the Menus page.

    About the support docs, we restructured it so the support center now links to the individual tutorials like the featured video one. All of the same content is still available.

    I’ll wait for the next update. I currently use your child theme. Don’t want to have to place all my settings in another one.

    I may try the above before the next update comes out but I’ll make no promises. ??

    Sure, no problem ??

    If you get tired of waiting for the update, the easiest way would be to copy the content.php file from the above child theme into yours. That alone should fix the issue.

    I tried to install the child theme from the link you provided but installation failed stating that the destination folder already exists.
    I’m assuming that happened because I’m already using Track’s Child theme for my customizations

    Do you have an edited version of the content.php file in the child theme you’re using now? If not, copy the content.php file from the child theme linked to here into your existing child theme. The presence of the file will fix the issue with the featured videos.

    Honestly I’m not quite sure how to do something like that…I guess I’m stuck until I figure that out or the update. :/
