Featured Video for Blog Posts

I want to be able to embed a video on my blog posts and then have my home page which contains my recent blog posts to contain the embedded video and not featured images.

The plug-ins I have found to add A featured video to my theme only add it to the pages section and not posts. Anyone have any luck in finding a plugin or modifying an existing theme to get this to happen?
