Featured Slideshow

    Hi,

    I would like to put a slideshow on the homepage where the featured slider is, just a general slideshow, not a slider of posts. I attempted to do this by creating a gallery post and making it the featured post and setting the slider to 1, however nothing shows up.

    Is it possible to do this, just have a slideshow that I create in place of the featured slider?

    One more question as well. How do I increase the transition speed for a slideshow in a post?
