Featured Slider Not Showing,Issue With Thumbnails & Posts

  • As you can see here: https://gyazo.com/b9f4c273772e5fcba65bf774eecb421b the slider is not showing but if I choose grid then the posts show.

    I also need to know why the [thumbnails] images have been shrunk to look like they are too small above posts as you can see in the screenshot above…this happens when something is placed into the widget for “Content Sidebar”.

    I would also like to add the about the author box that is below posts on the theme twenty twelve, how can I do that?

    It also seems that there is issues with the images I am using, 2 of them are the same width yet appear different on the front page and posts: https://imm.io/1mDOQ < as you can see 1 appears too big and the other appears smaller.

    This seems to happen when I am using the widget called “Content Sidebar”.
