Featured Request or Help for build a function to get a twitter feed by is id

First of all thanks for this plugin !

I need some help or advice for build a function like getTweets but for returning a simple twitter feed by passing the id of the feed.

Is it possible to do it easily ? I see this post for get a twitter feed by is id https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/get/statuses/show/%3Aid
