    I’ve replaced the normal homepage on the mystile them with a meta slider and then a featured products short code. But it’s creating all this space between the products and titles and they’re running on a diagonal. I’ts not doing on any other shop pages and I didn’t think you’d have to do css so I”m confused. I’ve deactivated all plugins and it still gets the same results. Wonder if anyone has experienced this

  • Its difficult for designers to test all possible combinations of the elements that the webmaster might use when writing the css, so sometimes a tweak is needed.

    Try this in your custom css to get the products to line up:

    ul.products {white-space: normal;}

    There seem to be other design elements on the page that are empty yet they are taking up room.

    Thanks lorro that lined them up. Yeah I’m not sue why there’s empty space but I’m going to look into firebug and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for the help.

    Jeff,

    can you share how you add meta slider to mystile theme?
    I’m using the same theme and I want to remove banner and add Meta Slider.

    thanks in advance.

    I set up a page with the slider shortcake as well as Featured Products with the woo commerce shortcake and then under the Reading settings I chose static page for the “Front Page Displays” setting and then chose the page I created.
