• Currently testing free versions of both theme + plugin.
    2 main issues at Theme Options/Featured Products

    – Added products are being removed/deleted after saving and navigating a couple of times at frontend
    – Added products don’t get the correct link to individual product but to catalog page (…/catalog/?SingleProduct=)

    I don’t know whether those are related to warnings I previously posted but it’s a strange behavior.

    I was able to reproduce the first issue above:

    – saved 4 products as featured
    – navigated at front/backend a bit
    – checked again, the featured products are still shown
    – went to plugin’s options, added the FB icon
    – all 4 featured products have been removed
    – added them again
    – wnet to plugin’s options, removed the FB icon
    – all 4 featured products have been removed again

    It seems the issue occurs with any option edit at plugin level.

    Hi John,

    We were able to recreate something similar to this. It doesn’t seem to affect all installs, so we’re not exactly sure yet what the root cause of the issue is. We’ll have to investigate to find out, so we can correct it. In the meantime, if this is occurring, the featured products will need to be set after you make the option changes you need to make.

    But what about the link to the product (…/catalog/?SingleProduct=)?
    This issue is not related to Catalog Options as I was never been able to get a link to an individual product. I always get the Catalog front page instead.

    If you go to your catalog page and click on an item, does it go to the correct product page? If it’s just happening with the featured products on the homepage of the theme, we’d need to have a look at the page. There’s probably just some option or something in the setup that needs to be altered, but it would be hard to say without seeing exactly what’s going on.

    Yes, the catalog item links are correct.
    The problem is only with featured products at homepage.
