Featured Posts Slider not displaying on Blog Home Page

    Hi, The Featured Posts Slider does not show on my Blog Home Page. If I set the Theme Options Featured Post Count to 1 then it shows that post. As soon as I change the Featured Post Count to more than 1 only a small placeholder appears on the top of the blog. I can see the references to the slider in the page source but I am not a programmer so I have no idea why it would not work.

  • Hi beat_wettstein. When you set the Featured Post Count to 1 the theme just displays that post. Setting it to greater than 1 invokes the Flexslider which is driven by jQuery. My guess is you have a conflict somewhere, maybe with one of your plugins, that’s not allowing the flexslider jQuery to load. So, even though the theme builds the flexslider and article list containers, the jQuery to create and display the slider isn’t running.

    Hi, thanks for your reply. True, it is a popup plugin that is causing the issue. I will get on to the popup plugin people and ask them for help.
