This was working. I believe it may have broken with 1.0.27.

My featured posts are not showing in the blog, but I have configured Ridizain to show them.

I have a single category for “Select Blog Feed Category”. I have a tag name in the Featured Content menu, and I have enabled “Show featured posts in blog feed?”. I just confirmed that my featured posts have the tag value and the blog category.

If I remove the tag value, the posts become visible in the blog.

    Cheers,
    J

    Hello Jakosky,

Both of the features are working as intended i.e. a specific category for the home feed plus featured content in the blog feed – as seen here: https://demo1.ridizain.com/

For my set up I use “showcase” as the featured tag and only the Akismet plugin is active.

Going to assume that there maybe a conflict somewhere so could I ask what plugins are active on your end?

Thank you. This morning I am not able to reproduce the problem.

Must have been a browser cache – they tend to be a little stubborn sometimes ??

Marking thread as resolved but if anything please feel free to post back or open a new thread and I’ll get back to you asap.

    Zulf,

This is happening again. I have not touched any of the posts since I first submitted this issue yesterday.

Please load the page at mymicrohomestead.com. The only thing I’ve done since messaging you is to add the code to limit the width of the site.

    Cheers,

    Hello Jakosky,

There’s been a change of theme from Ridizain to a child theme so I’m guessing that you may need to revisit the Customizer, take an action and save so that the transients are flushed.

Settings are save on per theme basis so the original themes settings will not have been transferred to the new one fully – revisiting the Customizer usually gets them to kick in since the options are the same but just need to be re-saved for the new theme.

Let me know if that helps at all or if we need to investigate the issue further.

    Regards,
    Zulf

P.S. Reopening the thread for continuity.

This appears to be resolved with the 1.2.30 update.

    Cool.

Marking thread as resolve but do let me know if the issue resurfaces and will revisit it.
