Do you still need any help with this?

    My email notification said:

I just moved my site to SSL and it impacted the entire theme.
From the homepage, the featured section has disappeared and under single posts, the images aren’t full width anymore!

Can you please provide a link to your site?

    Hi there,

Thank you for sharing the link to your site! I’m able to see what you’re referring to.

The theme use jQuery to move the featured image on single posts into the header area and, when checking for jQuery-related errors in my browser’s console, I found the following:

Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.trendingus.com/2016/05/27/methods-to-keep-ideas-flowing/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘https://www.trendingus.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Aesha-Anurag_avatar_1461610923-60×60.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Would you be able to convert your images to HTTPS?

You could also use a plugin, such as the following, to find all content on your site that is not yet secured with HTTPS:

Let me know how you get on.

Is this the issue of author image not being https?

I was able to fix the mixed content, what next?

I visited your post and the image now seems to be displaying correctly on first load, but not upon subsequent loads.

Here’s a screenshot of the post loading correctly for me the first time I visited that post today:

Have you added any custom JavaScript or jQuery to your site? If so, that may be causing a conflict.

In addition, could you try disabling your plugins one by one to test if any of them are the cause of the issue?

Let me know how you get on with those troubleshooting steps.

    Hi,

Actually I’m using a CDN and recently activated minifying JS for improved loading times. I disabled the same and everything seems normal now.

    Thanks for the support.

I’m glad to hear you were able to pinpoint and resolve the issue! Feel free to open another thread if anything else comes up.
