Featured Posts?

    I see that vgonzales11 asked a similar question yesterday but I am not keen on his/her workaround.

    I am wondering the same thing (and I’m an admitted novice at WP- so apologies in advance for my noob-ness).

    I have made new posts and have deleted the sample posts from the dashboard. I have pointed the Featured Posts section in the Kale settings to my new post and still my new post is not “featured” and the “Hello World” sample posts still appear. Naturally, because I’ve deleted them if you click on the sample posts it gives the 404 error.

    How do I get rid of the Hello World posts, while keeping the Featured Posts section and have my new posts appear in the Featured section?

    Sorry if this is all super convoluted!!

    Please make sure that Hello world post is deleted permanently from Trash (It’s in Posts -> Trash).
