Featured Post Text n

  • Hi, after an update of the theme, my Featured Post Slider is only displaying the Featured Image of the post, but none of the Text.

    Could you please help?

    Thank you for writing in,

    Please make sure that you have configure the homepage with homepage template If not please follow these steps to configure your home page with “homepage” template and check once:

    1) Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
    2) Create a Page (for your home page).
    3)Enter the Title (e.g. “Home” ) and assign the page with “HomePage” Template.
    4)Click on “Publish” button.
    5) Now Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading / Set “Front page displays” option to display “A static page”.
    6)Then Select the Page (home page created with “home page” template) from “Front Page” Drop Down List.

    Now you need to Configure the slider, etc home pages section.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I followed your instructions and changed my Front Page to have the HomePage Template. I was able to get the slider to show my featured post (in Firefox). In Chrome the text from my slider appears behind the box of the Front Page.

    Additionally, (on Firefox) it seems as though part of the text is covered by the featured image in the post.

    Lastly, all of the Featured Content on my Front Page, which is supposed to be displayed below the slider, has disappeared.

    Any help will be much appreciated.
