    Hi Pierre,

    It’s not a user error.

WPGlobus cannot know all possible themes and plugins by default (that would make it a monster) ??

To teach WPGlobus about your Slider, need to do some special configuration.

On this page, there is a slideshow presentation. Look at the 12th slide.

    Thank you!

Thanks so much for the quick reply.
One additional piece of information: I just noticed that the preview displayed in Appearance…Customize works perfectly! If I switch language, the slider title and text switches as well.
Looks like it’s only when I access the published site that the function doesn’t work. Guess I should post a question to the Theme provider, right ?
    Thanks again.

If the Theme author will be willing to take a look, please let them know that we are ready to co-operate and answer all their questions.

P.S. If they refuse, we can take a look ourselves – but a) that’s not as effective as work with the theme authors, and may cause problems with future upgrades, if we fix their code; b) we’ll have to charge some fee.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the offer, I posted a support request… just waiting on an answer.

Another question for you. One of the Blog functions is translated as “Laisser un réponse” in French. It’s really minor but the correct translation is “Laisser une réponse”. Can I do a search & replace somewhere?

    Thanks again

    Hi again Pierre,

That translation is a part of the theme. You can change the text yourself – but that will be quite a challenge for a non-developer doing it first time.
    See, for example: https://thethemefoundry.com/blog/translate-a-wordpress-theme/

The best way – again, tell that to the theme developers.

    Merci beaucoup!

Excellent, merci beaucoup pour ton aide !!!

    Took me 2 minutes…
    downloaded and installed POEdit
edited the fr_FR.po file for my theme, saved it which generated the .mo file.
Blog now shows the correct translation.

    Thanks again,
    Pierre
