featured post – possible to show on all subsites / posts?

  • Sorry, I have another question –
    the featured posts look great now.
    But they arent shown, if I click in a post or on the subsites.

    Is there any possibity to show the featured posts on all sites?

    Hello Solaria,

    Not sure I follow – could you link to a specific post?

    For me I can see the featured content and clicking on them I’m take to the actual post i.e. https://ausfluege-in-hamburg.de/jesteburg-maerchenwanderweg-der-trickser/

    Am I missing something?

    I want the slider showing up on every post/page, not only in the home page.

    hello Wishow,

    To show the featured posts sitewide you’ll need to use a child theme and edit the header.php file. Simply copy the original header to your child theme and remove is_front_page() && from lines 55 & 64.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

    I follow your instructions. I used a child theme and removed the is_front_page() from lines 55 & 64.

    It seems to work, but not totally as I expect.
    The featured posts is shown on every post, but the slider is not working properly. Each post is shown one under the other, like a vertical item list.

    What can I do to solve this? Any Css or js script is needed on the child theme?
