Featured Post no longer working

  • The theme I’m using allows for a Featured Post – either for category, on Home Page, or in Featured Category Widget by checking appropriate box. Since WP3.6, the database does not seem to be saving my selection. (Assuming this is a DB issue, not Theme issue.) Whether I clear a previously checked box, or check a box when writing a new post, the selection is not saved when I Save or Update. Not a programming guy, so poking around php and the file structure didn’t help – I didn’t see anything that seemed relevant. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Oops! Forgot to include that. The theme is called Travel Blogger (v1.6) from FreeTravelWebsiteTemplates.com. It seemed to work fine until about the time I updated to WP3.6 – not sure if that’s coincidence or not. Absolutely no response from the developers over several months of attempting to contact them.

    I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.
