Featured Post Images Cut Off

    Great theme! My site is hiphopspeakeasy.com.

    I had an old theme so all the featured images came over, but whenever I try to add a featured image to the post now, it seems Vantage cuts it off and makes it smaller. Basically, it looks like the max height for my featured images is 350 so the image has to be 350x350px in order to look square but then it’s all blurred because it’s being stretched out and made a lot bigger.

    How do I make the featured image height larger for post images?

    The Simple Images Plugin worked for sure…

    1) Install the plugin

    2) Go to Settings>Media

    3) Create a new thumbnail (under image sizes but above uploading files/about halfway down the page) and name it “featured-image” then set the dimensions to 1024×1024. Also put “featured-image” in for the public name. (You may want to regenerate thumbnails at the bottom but it isn’t necessary).

    ***4) (If you didn’t regenerate thumbnails) Reupload the image and it should fit the new settings.
