Featured pages on home page

  • I have some pages (not posts) that I want to feature on the home page. I wrote a simple plugin that enables tags for pages, but they still don’t show up on the home page.

    Can you give me a clue to where to start looking to make this work?

    The featured content functionality is contained in inc/featured-content.php.

    It’s fairly complex but if you’re a programmer you might be able to tie into it somehow in a child theme.

    If this helps anyone, Ive done some searching around and he only ‘fix’ I can find to display pages (not posts) on the homepage grid is to create a post and manually edit the slug to be the same as the page URL you want to feature – not sure if this causes any issues in the CMS or not??
